Scott and Jenny's Engagement shoot at Duke University was an absolute dream. We were so scared that our plans would be rained out, but the lighting was perfect and added a slightly moody feel to their images.
Duke is such a flexible location for photos as they have the beautiful gardens but also the incredibly fun architecture on the main campus. Even in the dead of winter the gardens were a lovely backdrop. We lucked out with beautiful even light as the sun went down. Even though it was a bit too cloudy for a sunset we still got some of that amazing golden hour light creeping over the tree tops.
If you are local to North Carolina and haven't visited Duke I would highly recommend it as a day trip. Make sure to check the schedule at the Chapel to see what they have going on through out the year they have concerts and other events open to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to look inside at the beautiful Gothic Architecture. The acoustics are AMAZING.
